Black Label Society mainman and general guitar god Zakk Wylde was recently the target of the first ever Rock & Roll Roast, with the likes of Sharon Osbourne, Corey Taylor and Stone Cold Steve Austin laying into him in the name of entertainment.
We like to think we’re a bunch of hard nuts here at Hammer (lolz), but even we don’t think we could take some of the abuse directed towards – and, to be fair, spouted from – Zakk Wylde at the recent and inaugural Rock & Roll Roast.
The event was put together in the name of ripping the piss out of some of rock and metal’s biggest names, with Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor, Sharon Osbourne, Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho, Anthrax legend Scott Ian and wrestling megastar Stone Cold Steve Austin just some of the names that got stuck into our Zakk.
We’ve been rummaging around trying to find some video footage of the event, but for now, we have to make do with this recap clip below. Poor, poor Zakk.
